Love this. Almost like reading a foreign language, but can't stop, except to google some food jargon. If I ever hit LA again (you may remember we talked when I was dropping my son , now a successful young film director. at the American Film Institute) I would be love to go for one of these meals and remember times past. My only concern - how do you remain lucid after the liquid part of your gastronomic adventures? P.S. my son. an NYU Tisch 2018 grad, dropped out of AFI, was funded to do a film back in Latvia and never looked back .
